Kurmanaev to join New York Times’ Russian team in Berlin

Anatoly Kurmanaev

Anatoly Kurmanaev will join The New York Times‘ Russian team in Berlin. Previously, Kurmanaev was a Latin America correspondent.

Previously, he served as a Venezuela reporter, a post he also held at The Wall Street Journal.

He was an economy and government reporter at Bloomberg and an energy reporter at Interfax. He was a financial services reporter at Business News Americas.

Kurmanaev graduated from the University of Edinburgh.
