KPBS-TV names Shepherd news director

Terence Shepherd

KPBS-TV Ch. 15, a PBS member station in San Diego has appointed Terence Shepherd news director, a post he recently held at WLRN Public Radio & Television.

Previously, Shepherd served as managing editor at Bankrate. He worked at The Miami Herald for more than 13 years. There, he held the posts of business Monday editor, weekend business editor, multimedia business editor and money editor.

Shepherd has a B.A. from the University of Virginia and an M.B.A. from Florida Atlantic University.
