Michael Korsh will join the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette as a data reporter on the investigations team. Currently, he is an MSJ candidate in the Medill Investigative Lab at Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism.
Along with completing his master’s, he is conducting an investigation for ProPublica with the Medill lab.
Previously, he reported on business and technology for the Medill News Service and co-authored an investigation for the Washington Post. Korsh has interned at Kiplinger’s Personal Finance, Injustice Watch, the Medill Investigative Lab and Moment Magazine.
He also oversaw North by Northwestern student news magazine’s transition to remote production during the pandemic.
Korsh has a B.S. from Northwestern University in suburban Chicago.
