Konradi named executive editor of Gannett’s Mississippi paper

Mark Konradi

Mark Konradi has joined Gannett-owned newspaper The Clarion Ledger in Jackson, Miss. as executive editor. Konradi will also serve as Gannett’s state editor, overseeing the Hattiesburg American.

Konradi came from The Dallas Morning News, where he worked for more than 22 years. He joined as deputy sports editor in 1999 and was named director of newsroom operations in 2015. He was also a sports editor at the Arlington Morning News in Texas.

Konradi has a B.A. from Sewanee: University of the South in Sewanee, Tenn.
