Robert Klemko will be joining the Washington Post national security team to cover criminal justice in America, from policing to the broader justice system and the ongoing campaign for reform.
Klemko came to the Post last year as an investigative reporter on the sports staff. Prior to that, he spent six years at Sports Illustrated as one of the first staff writers for Peter King’s “The Monday Morning Quarterback,” delivering a string of investigative pieces.
He has also worked as an NFL reporter at USA Today.
Klemko earned his Bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Maryland College Park.
