Klaidman joins CBS News as investigative reporter

CBS News has hired Daniel Klaidman as an investigative reporter in New York. He will begin on Jan. 1.

Klaidman held many posts at Newsweek — including managing editor, national political correspondent, Washington bureau chief, Jerusalem bureau chief and Washington investigative correspondent.

He also served as editor-in-chief of Yahoo News.

Klaidman wrote “Kill Or Capture: The War on Terror and the Soul of the Obama Presidency” published by HarperCollins. His forthcoming book is about the Fulton County, Ga. election investigation.

Klaidman graduated from Georgetown University.
