Politico has hired Eun Kim as deputy White House editor. She joins from CQ Roll Call, where she was an editor, managing a team of reporters who covered federal immigration, policy, Census and changing demographics.
Kim also oversaw coverage and edited breaking news coverage and enterprise reports.
Prior to that, she was a news writer/editor at the American Heart Association. She has also covered breaking news national politics, business and more for NBC News’ Today’s digital arm. She was also a political correspondent at Gannett | USA Today Network.
Additionally, Kim has reported for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch and The Associated Press.
Kim has a B.A. in journalism from the University of Arizona.
