Kennedy joins Axios as a lifestyle reporter

Axios has hired Audrey Kennedy as a lifestyle reporter covering arts, entertainment and things to do in Minneapolis and St. Paul.

Kennedy joins from Southwest News Media where she was a community reporter covering every aspect of local news, including government, business, features, investigations and breaking news for Chanhassen and Carver County.

She has also worked as a contract reporter at the Star Tribune and has interned at American Public Media Group.

Kennedy holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Minnesota, where she also worked at the campus newspaper.
