Christina Kelso is joining The New York Times Video team full-time as an associate video producer to deliver news clips, livestreams and breaking news packages.
Kelso began working with the Video team in early 2020 as a freelance assistant editor, and then as an associate video producer.
Prior to joining The Times, Kelso covered Northeast Florida as a staff photojournalist and writer for The St. Augustine Record. She has also worked as an editorial assistant at Cox Media and has served as a lifestyle reporting intern, photojournalism intern, and freelance photojournalist at The Florida Times-Union.
She was also editor-in-chief at The Navigator–Jacksonville University’s student newspaper–and worked as a marketing and communications intern at Jacksonville University.
Kelso is a B.A. in communication, journalism and photography from Jacksonville University and holds a Master’s degree in journalism – documentary filmmaking specialization from Columbia University – Graduate School of Journalism.
