Vox has hired Joshua Keating as a senior correspondent to cover “global trends, and the ideas and dynamics that have shaped them.” He will be based in Washington, D.C., and will begin on Dec. 4.
Keating will join from The Messenger, where he is a global security reporter, a post he previously held at Grid. He also served as a senior editor at Slate Magazine and as an associate editor at Foreign Policy.
Keating has a bachelor’s degree from Oberlin College in Ohio.
