KCUR promotes Martin to culture editor

Luke X. Martin

KCUR-FM 89.3, NPR station in Kansas City has promoted Luke X. Martin to culture editor, covering race, ethnicity, arts, culture and sports.

His new role begins on July 1.

Recently, he was a race and culture reporter and an associate producer. He also freelanced and served as a government and national security reporter at the Medill News Service of Northwestern University.

Martin has a M.S. from Northwestern University in the Chicago area.
