Katzenberger to cover misinformation as student fellow at Milwaukee Journal Sentinel

Tyler Katzenberger

Tyler Katzenberger has joined Gannett’s Milwaukee Journal Sentinel as a Google News initiative and Poynter student misinformation fellow. He wrote on X/Twitter:

“I’ll be doing plenty of fact-checking, so tips are welcome at tkatzenberger@gannett.com or via DM.”

Katzenberger joined in June 2023 as a Capitol bureau intern. He also held the posts of state news writer, state news editor and managing editor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s student newspaper, The Badger Herald.

He also interned and freelanced for the Madison-based newspaper The Capital Times.

Katzenberger has a B.S. in political science and journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
