Kansas City’s CBS station appoints Dorris chief meteorologist

Luke Dorris

KCTV-TV Ch. 5, a CBS affiliate in Kansas City, has hired Luke Dorris as chief meteorologist. Since August 2017, he has held the post of meteorologist at WPLG-TV Ch. 10, an ABC station in Miami.

Previously, Dorris worked at ABC station KLKN-TV Ch. 8 in Lincoln, Neb., for more than seven years. There, he served in the roles of morning meteorologist and chief meteorologist.

Dorris has a B.S. from the University of Oklahoma.
