Express.co.uk has tapped Hannah Kane to serve as deputy news editor. She joins from The Mirror, where she served as an assistant news editor.
Previously, Kane was at Reach plc, where she held the posts of content editor, digital editor and then acting editor of MyLondon. She also worked as a multimedia journalist at Essex Live.
Kane has a bachelor’s degree in multimedia journalism from Bournemouth University, where she was editor-in-chief of the Bournemouth Rock.
