After spending 6 years at Al Jazeera English, journalist Shereena Qazi has left to join TRT World as a senior current affairs producer based out of Istanbul.
After graduation, Qazi went to Afghanistan as a freelance journalist, mostly working for USA Today online. There, she also worked for Euronews, Mediadante Productions, and Al Jazeera.
Her work has included reporting and writing stories for the website, and producing news packages for TV but she spent most of her time working as a producer for Mediadante.
In addition, Qazi has also worked for MSN India, MSN South Africa and Al-Fanar Media.
Qazi holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Northwestern University.
