Journalist McCarthy departs for role in PR

Kailey McCarthy

Kailey McCarthy, television news anchor at KALB-TV, an NBC/CBS/CW+-affiliated TV station in Louisiana, has left for a role in public relations.

Previously, she was a television news reporter at WFXL, a Fox-affiliated TV station in Albany, Georgia. She has also interned at WVUA 23, ABC 33/40, Birmingham and Local 15 | WPM1-TV. NBC-affiliated TV station for South Alabama and much of the Emerald Coast of Florida.

McCarthy has a B.A. from the University of Alabama.
