Madeline Heim will join the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel as an environment reporter via Report for America. She begins in June.
Currently, Heim serves as a health and science reporter for Gannett | USA Today Network and is also a contributor at PolitiFact Wisconsin. Previously, she was an education reporter at Winona Daily News in Minnesota.
She interned at the Wisconsin Center for Investigative Journalism.
Heim holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism and English from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
