Kyle Jorrey, editor, head of social media at Acorn Newspapers in Thousand Oaks, Calif., will depart effective Friday. His tweet reads:
“My last day at my beloved Acorn Newspapers will be March 3rd, just shy of my 19th year with the company. An incredibly difficult decision to make but felt the itch to try something new.
“I’ll have more to say in the coming days about what’s next for me (you guys are gonna love it) and will have MANY more classic Acorn memories/stories to share but for now I’ll end it with a bit of good news….”
Previously, Jorrey served as editor in chief of Los Angeles Sports and Fitness Magazine. He also reported for Wyoming-based Newsletter Journal.
Jorrey graduated from Pepperdine University in California.
