Hemal Jhaveri is now race and inclusion editor for USA Today Sports Media Group. Along with her new role, she will continue as editor of “For the Win,” USA Today’s vertical fan-focused site.
Jhaveri has been with the company for more than 7 years, joining as a senior social media editor. Before that, she was at Politico for more than 3 years, where first she served as an assistant managing editor of digital and social media and then as executive director of digital innovation.
She was also executive producer at AOL and a managing editor at DCist. She has also worked as a web content manager/editor at DC Style Magazine and has served as a research assistant at O’Brien and Associates Lobbying Firm.
Jhaveri is a B.A. from James Madison University and a M.A. from George Mason University.
