Sky News has hired Luke Jacobs as chief sub-editor on the digital team. Recently, he was regional editor South East at Reach plc.
During more than six years at Reach, Jacobs also held the posts of regional editor, editor of KentLive and SussexLive, and brands editor for KentLive.
He also reported for Archant and previously worked at Reach from July 2007 to November 2011 as a news reporter and chief reporter.
