Jackson, Wyoming weekly names Meyer publisher

The following excerpt was sent out:

Adam Meyer

The Jackson Hole News&Guide has a new publisher. Adam Meyer, a minority owner of this paper’s parent company, Teton Media Works, has been promoted from the associate publisher role he held for seven years.

Kevin Olson, still president, CEO and majority owner of Teton Media Works, is stepping aside to hand the newspaper’s day-to-day operations to Meyer.

Meyer will continue the decades-long heritage of local news publishers in the valley.

After growing up in Minnesota and earning a bachelor’s in journalism from the University of Minnesota, Meyer came to the Tetons first to row the Snake for Jackson Lake Lodge guests. Olson hired him at the News&Guide as an advertising assistant in 2005. Meyer has worked his way up through advertising sales to chief operating officer and vice president of Teton Media Works.
