Rosmery Izaguirre will join Politico as a data reporter. Recently, she was an Esserman Investigative Fellow, working as a data reporter at the Miami Herald.
Previously, she interned at the Los Angeles Times and the Herald. She worked as a visualization producer and as a digital managing editor at the Independent Florida Alligator, University of Florida’s student paper.
She formerly reported for WUFT-TV Ch. 5, a PBS member station in Florida.
Izaguirre has a B.S. in journalism from the University of Florida.
