ITV News taps Dagnell as editor of Network News

Andrew Dagnell

ITV News has promoted Andrew Dagnell as head of Network News. In Dagnell’s new role, he will “oversee ITV’s national news programs, ITV News London, ITN-produced Tonight programs, live specials and documentaries for ITV and itv.com/news.”

He begins his new role Sept. 1.

Currently, he serves as head of newsgathering and previously worked as a news editor. He also reported for the Sunday Mirror and News U.K.

Dagnell has a M.A. from the University of Oxford.
