ITV News has tapped Matt Brindley to serve as managing editor.
In his new role, Brindley will work on newsroom strategy and growth, and developing ideas and projects for the future of ITV News on all platforms.
Previously, he worked at ITN for 15 years in various roles, including news editor for ITV News, acting editor for ITV News London, deputy managing editor for ITV News and recently as head of output for ITV News.
Brindley has degrees from the University of Oxford and Cardiff University.
