Irish Star US content editor Flannery to depart

Maria Flannery

Maria Flannery, a content editor at the Irish Star US, is set to depart. She wrote on X/Twitter:

“I’m leaving @IrishStarUS soon. Deva to be saying bye to such a brilliant, close-knit gang, but a new adventure awaits me  Now my job is up for grabs — remote in Ireland w/ great benefits. Share with your journo friends!” [link to the job on her Tweet]

Previously, Flannery held the posts of multimedia journalist and acting assistant news editor at RTE, where she has also worked as a mobile journalist. She also covered news, politics, business and culture for The Limerick Leader Newspaper.

Flannery has a B.A. from Mary Immaculate College in Limerick and a M.A. from the University of Limerick.
