Emma Ryan has joined The Irish Independent as a regional digital journalist to cover the North West region.
Ryan joins from North-West News Group, where she worked for more than seven years. There she held the posts of journalist for the Fermanagh Herald and senior digital journalist. She worked as a sports journalist at Sportswomen.ie, and as a journalist at Donegal Highland Radio Limited in Ireland.
Ryan has a bachelor’s degree from Ulster University in Ireland.
