Invest in the future of business news

Industry buzz. Economic trends. People on the move. For over ten years, Talking Biz News (talkingbiznews.com) has provided indispensable information for subscribers like you — top business journalists, public relations professionals and enthusiasts wanting and needing accurate, timely information about what’s happening and what’s coming next in the world of business and business reporting.

Talking Biz News is not just an information portal and forum for industry-expert insights and opinions — it’s also a hands-on laboratory. Students at the UNC School of Media and Journalism learn by doing through sourcing and producing professional-level content that’s relevant and useful to the business and business journalism communities.

The value proposition is clear – to both established professionals and to the next generation of communicators preparing to ignite and lead the public conversation around business news.

Right now, Talking Biz News is ready to take our initiative to the next level. We’re developing a rich array of resources for students – professional development opportunities, an annual conference, a mentoring program, internships and more. We have the strategy, expertise and demand in place. Even so, the transformation can’t happen without your help.

A gift to Talking Biz News — at any level — will allow us to continue to provide the up-to-date business news on which you depend, as well as enrich and deepen the business journalism learning experience for our students. We cordially invite you to invest in our effort to deliver the freshest business news while offering the most powerful learning opportunities for our students.

Sincerely,

Chris Roush
