IndyStar promotes Krift to executive editor

Bro Krift

The Indianapolis Star has appointed Bro Krift executive editor. Krift had been serving in the role on an interim basis since July 2021.

Recently, he held the post of senior news director at the Pulitzer Prize-winning newsroom. Prior to joining the IndyStar, he was executive editor of The Montgomery Advertiser in Alabama, part of the USA Today Network.

He was also a city editor and managing editor at the Corpus Christi Caller-Times in Texas. He has also held reporting posts in Pennsylvania, Texas and Utah.

Krift graduated from Davidson College.
