Camila Fernández will be extending her time at WISH 8 in Indianapolis. She signed a new agreement to remain at the station as a bilingual MMJ and reporter.
She has been with WISH 8 since January 2021.
The Colombia-born and Miami-raised journalist previously spent three years as a reporter at WMDT-TV in Salisbury, Maryland, where she also anchored “Latino Flavor,” a Spanish-language newscast for Azteca America affiliate WGDV-LD.
While studying at FIU, Fernández was also a correspondent for the online TV streaming company Caribe Sano TV from 2014 to 2017.
