IndieWire taps Strecker as executive editor, TV

Erin Strecker

IndieWire has appointed Erin Strecker as executive editor leading the TV vertical, helping in directing and expanding coverage. She is based in New York.

Strecker joined from Mashable, where she worked as a deputy entertainment editor, and, most recently, as an entertainment editor. She was also a correspondent and associate editor at Billboard.

She has also written and reported for Entertainment Weekly.

Strecker has a B.A. in journalism from Drake University.
