The Boston Globe has hired Christopher Huffaker as a data journalist on the education team.
He joins from Patch.com, where he was a local editor.
Before that, he was a data and county government reporter at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. There, he also worked as a general assignment reporter. He was also an intern at AFP and McClatchy.
Huffaker graduated from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
