Hubbard moves to LA Times’ Fast Break desk

Amy Hubbard, assistant editor – newsletters at the Los Angeles Times will movie to its Fast Break desk as an assistant editor. She begins on Dec. 12.

Hubbard joined the Times in 1993 and worked in a variety of editorial departments, including as copy chief for daily Calendar, Travel, Books and the morning news copy desk. She served as SEO chief and as morning editor on the Metro desk.

She left in March 2015 and joined NerdWallet as an assigning editor on the Banking team. Later, she held the post of copy editor. She rejoined the Times in 2018 as a multiplatform editor.

She also worked at The Hollywood Reporter.

Hubbard has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
