Houston’s NBC-TV station names Burns co-anchor

Candace Burns

KPRC-TV Ch 2, an NBC affiliate in Houston, has appointed Candace Burns co-anchor of the 4 p.m. newscast. Recently, she served as an evening anchor at WTVR-TV Ch. 6, a CBS station in Richmond, Va.

Previously, Burns was an evening anchor at DW News and worked as a TV news anchor and reporter at WJRT-TV Ch. 12, an ABC affiliate in Flint, Mich.

Burns graduated from Wichita State University.
