Houston TV station meteorologist Arango to depart

Lena Arango

Lena Arango, a meteorologist at Houston’s Fox outlet KRIV-TV Ch. 26, has left. She wrote on X/Twitter:

“While I will be bidding TV farewell, I love Htown way too much to leave! I am excited to announce that I have accepted a position at alliantgroup beginning in October. Thank you endlessly for welcoming me into your homes, trusting me with your forecast, and making me fall in love with Houston. It has truly been an honor!”

Previously, Arango worked as a meteorologist/MMJ at WGGB-TV Ch. 40, an ABC, Fox and MyNetworkTV affiliate in Springfield, Mass. She also interned at WFXT-TV Ch. 25, a Fox affiliate in Boston.

Arango has a B.S. and M.S. from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell.
