Houston CBS affiliate promotes Benito to co-anchor

Marcelino Benito

KHOU-TV Ch. 11, a CBS affiliate in Houston, has tapped Marcelino Benito to serve as a co-anchor of the weekend evening newscasts. Previously, he was a reporter.

Benito joined the TV station in 2014. He was a reporter and fill-in anchor at KGUN-TV Ch. 9, an ABC affiliate in Arizona. He was also a reporter and weekend anchor at KMSB-TV Ch. 11, a Fox affiliate in Arizona.

Benito graduated from Northwestern University.
