Hoff takes on Mizzou sports beat at St. Louis Post-Dispatch

Eli Hoff

Award-winning journalist Eli Hoff is the new University of Missouri Athletics beat writer at the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. Recently, he served as Mizzou athletics campus correspondent.

Hoff wrote on X/Twitter:

“It’s an honor to step into this role, and I’m incredibly excited for it. This is a dream opportunity.”

Previously, Hoff was at the Columbia Missourian, where he held the posts of Washington correspondent, higher education reporter and assistant city editor for higher education. He was also a newsletter producer and sports enterprise/features reporter. He interned at the Midwest Center for Investigative Reporting and The Jefferson City News Tribune.

He contributed to the Columbia Daily Tribune in Missouri and wrote for Vox Magazine. He has also worked at SB Nation.

Hoff has bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
