KTLA-TV Ch. 5, the CW Television Network flagship station in Los Angeles, has hired Erica Hill-Rodriguez as news director. Recently, Hill-Rodriguez was president and co-founder at Mx Media Creative, a company specializing in media and creative consultancy, production, and design.
Before that, she was VP and news director at California-based Fox stations KTTV-TV Ch. 11 and KCOP-TV Ch. 13.
She worked at Tribune Media for more than nine years, where she held various posts for its TV stations, including assistant news director, news director and senior assignment editor.
She also worked at CBS Corp.
Hill-Rodriguez graduated from Boise State University in Idaho.
