Hearst Connecticut Media Group reporter Dignan departs

Clare Dignan, an investigative reporter at Hearst Connecticut Media Group has left. A part of her Tweet reads, “Later this month, I’m joining the @CTMirror as their Development Officer of major giving and can’t begin to articulate how excited I am for what’s in store.”

She was with the news organization for five years, as a news reporter, covering New Haven City Hall and working for the metro desk. She was a social media assistant at Quinnipiac University and an intern at the Record-Journal in Meriden.

Dignan has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Quinnipiac University.
