Reach plc’s Liverpool Echo has tapped Daniel Haygarth to serve as a regeneration reporter. In his new role, he will cover transport, infrastructure projects, business, culture, hospitality, politics and social issues.
Haygarth will also be responsible for the “Liverpool Daily Post” newsletter. He joined the title in January 2022 as a reporter, and recently served as a senior reporter.
He has also worked as a trainee reporter/journalist at Cambridge News and News Associates. He freelanced and was a part of a work placement at The Daily Mirror and U.K. regional newspaper the Shropshire Star.
Haygarth has a B.A. in English literature and politics from Newcastle University in London.
