Hardwig moving to Free-Press South Region team

Greg Hardwig

Greg Hardwig, sports enterprise reporter for the Naples Daily News and the Free-Press will leave after 24-plus years to join the South Region team as a print and digital planner. His new role begins on May 31.

His Tweet further reads, “There are so many people to thank, from bosses, colleagues, friends, readers, and readers who became friends.”

Previously, he served as a sports reporter and assistant sports editor.

Hardwig graduated from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.
