Mark Dobson has taken on the role of assistant production editor at Guardian News & Media. Recently, he served as a deputy news editor, overseeing sports coverage online and in print.
Dobson has been with The Guardian for more than eight years, joining as a senior sports sub-editor.
Previously, he worked as a sports sub-editor and writer at Newsquest for five years.
