Greenville Post and Courier in South Carolina appoints Hall editor

Sam Hall

The Post and Courier in Greenville has named Sam Hall its editor. In his new role, he will also serve as regional editor for several Post and Courier markets throughout South Carolina.

Hall will begin in August.

Currently, he is executive editor of the Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal, which he will depart from next month. Previously, he worked at The Clarion-Ledger for more than seven years.

There, he held the posts of audience manager, assignment editor, assistant managing editor of digital and executive editor.

Hall has a B.S. in political science from Millsaps College in Mississippi.
