Encyclopaedia Britannica has tapped Washington Post veteran Tracy Grant as editor in chief. Grant had been with the Post for 29 years, recently serving as deputy managing editor.
There, she also held the posts of managing editor, senior editor for newsroom recruitment and development, and editor/writer.
She formerly worked as a copy editor and assistant city editor at The Miami Herald Media Company.
Grant has a B.S. in journalism from Northwestern University.
