Goba rejoins BuzzFeed News as a national politics reporter

BuzzFeed News welcomes back Kadia Goba as a national politics reporter.

Her new role begins Jun. 1.

She was previously at BuzzFeed from 2019 to 2020, during which time she was a congressional reporter and then a White House reporter for the company. She then left in 2020 to join Axios as a congressional reporter.

She was also a politics reporter at Bklyner and has interned at Newsday Media Group, NY1 News and Kings County Politics.

Goba is a recipient of the 2018 Pulitzer Center Consortium Grant and holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Hunter College.
