Alisha Sawhney has joined The Globe and Mail’s Globe Content Studio as a podcast lead. As per her tweet:
“I’ll be overseeing our podcast strategy to drive revenue both in editorial and branded content. I get to mesh my years as an audience editor with my love for audio storytelling!!!”
Recently, Sawhney held the post of audience growth editor. Previously, she worked as an opinion staff editor at The New York Times.
During her more than three years with HuffPost Canada, she held the posts of associate editor of audience development, podcast host and front page editor.
She contributed to CTV News and freelanced for Maclean’s, MoneySense and Canadian Business.
Sawhney has a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Ryerson University in Toronto.
