Eric Mark Do, a partner and audience strategist at Global News, has left. His LinkedIn post reads:
“After 6.5 years at Global News, today was my last day! It’s been quite the journey.
“I’m so proud of all the work we accomplished together at Global News. Whether it was an award-winning social media strategy, growing revenue, building audiences, or streamlining workflows — we did it as a united and dedicated team. Thank you to all the great connections and friends I’ve made here, you truly made this a great place to work.”
During his time at Global News, Do held the posts of national online journalist for social media and national syndication editor. In his new role, he has joined the Weather Network in Canada as a video and news optimization lead.
He also worked at the Canadian Journalism Foundation as an acting associate editor, students’ lounge editor and reporter.
Do graduated from Ryerson University.
