Georgia Public Broadcasting names Hullinger exec producer for local content

Jeff Hullinger has joined Georgia Public Broadcasting as executive producer for local content.

Commenting on his new role, Hullinger said:

“I’ve had a front row seat to news and sports and everything in between for the last 40 years that I’m grateful for.

“It really matters to me that people know about and understand where they live. I love this state so much. I’m looking forward to my beginnings at GPB and doing those things that are near to my heart.”

He also added that he will be producing, reporting and anchoring.

Hullinger joins from WXIA-TV Ch. 11, an NBC affiliate in Atlanta, where he has worked for more than 13 years.

Hullinger graduated from Colorado State University Pueblo.
