WFXG FOX54 News welcomes back Jasmyn Cornell as the new morning Anchor-Reporter for the CSRA’s only 5-hour newscast from 5AM-10AM, Monday-Friday.  She’ll join Anchor-Reporter Sabrina Shutters and Meteorologist Alex Carter.

Jasmyn grew up in the CSRA and previously worked for WFXG FOX54 as a multimedia producer.  She then accepted a job in Huntsville Alabama, at WAFF, where she has spent the past two years producing and anchoring the weekend morning newscasts, as well as reporting on weekdays.

Jasmyn’s new role is consistent with FOX54 News’ ongoing effort to grow our newsroom, on-and-off-air, with journalists who, along with skill and talent, bring a personal hometown connection to the communities they cover.
