Geen swaps Hearst for LA Times

Georgia Geen

Georgia Geen, senior producer for social media at Hearst Connecticut Media Group, has left to join the Los Angeles Times as a multiplatform editor, working with Apple News and other aggregators.

Geen was previously an intern at the Los Angeles Times from June 2020 to August 2020. Additionally, she has interned at the Roanoke Times via the Dow Jones News Fund and was an editorial intern at Richmond Magazine.

Geen graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University, where she has also worked at the student paper.
