GB News appoints Weeks as commercial director

David Weeks

Upcoming digital and television news network GB News has named David Weeks as its commercial director, reports The Drum.

Weeks is also a client and partnership consultant at Discovery. He also held the same post at Pearl & Dean. Weeks was also with The Week for more than 10 years working as an executive director – head of advertising and head of clients: The Week and Money Week.

He was also with The Economist for more than 12 years, working as a U.K. and NEMEA director.

He has also served as group advertising manager at VNU Business Publications.

Weeks is a graduate of Royal Holloway, University of London.
